questions?

Q: How long have you been a professional Photographer?

A: I started quite young, shooting news events and sports over twenty years ago. My career has included international commercial annual reports, commercial ad campaigns, fashion, news photojournalism, portraiture, music photography, and much more. When you hire me to photograph your once in a lifetime event, you can be at ease knowing that I can handle any situation, and still absolutely love what I do! I constantly challenge myself to adapt and grow as an artist, since every couple is different while I maintain a very professional and trustworthy consistency. I do like to take risks however…photographing people places and things which get my creative flow going. We love venues new to us!

Q: Are all images retouched?

A: Retouching is a term that is sometimes misused by some photographers… All final images delivered to you on disc are corrected for proper color and density. Special care is given to what I call the romance images – the photographs made of you two after the ceremony. All images included in your album feature extra special artistic care, including cropping and any retouching if necessary.

Q: Do you use an assistant?

A: Yes! My lovely wife Margie works with me acting as an assistant andĀ second photographer. She rocks, and has been published as much as I have!

Q: Do you subcontract or use associates?

A: When you hire Margie and I, and that is who you get! We are a family owned and operated business.

Q: What is required to retain your services?

A: A contract signed by the bride and groom along with a retainer of 50% of the package fee will lock in current pricing and secure services for your wedding date, with the balance to be rendered within thirty days of your wedding date. A contract can be emailed for your convenience.

Q: Do we pick the images for our wedding album, or do you?

A: It’s been our experience that most couples are quite busy, so our method is to select the images for you in the interest of speedy delivery of your album.

Q: Do you charge a travel fee?

A: Our package pricing is all inclusive for weddings in the immediate Tampa bay area, including Tampa, St Petersburg, Clearwater, and the Naturecoast area. Travel fees for weddings outside of these areas is quoted on an individual basis.

Q: What does the personal use release furnished with the high resolution files enable us to do with the images?

A: You may have prints made at a photo retailer, as well as post images to social networking sites. If you would like to post your wedding images on Facebook and such, we ask that you kindly post image credit, tag us, or preferably a link to our website. Link love is great!

Q: Are you a member of any professional organizations?

A: Yes, I belong to the International Society of Wedding Photographers, which is very difficult to get into unlike mostĀ  professional organizations.

Q: Are you insured, and do you bring backup equipment?

A: Yes to both! We keep all of our equipment in tip top shape, and are fully insured as any professional photographer should be. If your wedding venue requires us to provide a certificate of insurance, we are happy to do so of course.
