On Saturday, we drove down to visit my Great Aunt and Uncle in Sarasota. What a perfect day for a road trip! We love Sarasota – what a brilliant City of the Arts!

On the way to Sarasota! I swiped the GPS off of my Harley for the day…

These giant jellyfish were all over the beach. Most were at least 18-20 inches in diameter!!! Someone been feeding steroids to jellyfish?

Go fly a kite! It’s great fun, and a wonderful way to relieve stress. We know many of our clients get a bit frazzled planning their wedding, and a day of simple kite flying at the beach is a wonderful stress reliever, as well as a simple way to put things into perspective. Just walking along the beach during this slightly cool time can do wonders! Pop your favorite hoodie on and get those toesies in the sand. Yes, I am a 43 year old male and used the word toesies. That is what makes me cool…at least that is what my wife says.

What a gorgeous day for a family photo session at our little local beach, and we had a blast photographing the family (well, mostly the kidlet)! Photos by my super talented wife, Margie.

Play safe? What’s the fun in not using your parents as a swing?

We would be happy to show you many examples of Don Cesar weddings we have photographed over the years during a consultation, or view our website for a few examples. Due to frequent image theft issues, we have unfortunately had to remove all blog images of Don Cesar weddings.

Nikita and Kip’s Charles Ringling Mansion Wedding at New College, Sarasota. A fantastic classic Sarasota venue that we absolutely love to work at!

We are being published again in a most excellent magazine from Sarasota and the surrounding areas-SRQ magazine. Several photos of Katie and Aaron’s beautiful wedding at the Powel Crosley Museum will be featured in an article due out in the May 2009 issue-watch for it on newsstands in better bookstores and exclusive SW Florida establishments.
Katie and Aaron’s wedding images shot by me were also featured on NBC nightly news not too long ago, and the clip is on the blog.
