My good friend George Weir is putting on a fantastic wedding photojournalism seminar around the country, and since I know a few photographers/aspiring photogrpahers read my blog, I thought I would pass the info along. This is really a must attend event IMHO, as George is the real thing. Check it out! http://www.pjassembly.com/
Awesome REAL wedding photojournalism seminar opportunity!
Margie is in the hospital *Updated*

My wife Margie is in the hospital, and I will be in and out this week visiting her, so please have a bit of patience and compassion if you are attempting to contact me.
To my friends, if you could please remember her in your prayers, it would be much appreciated.
*Update 5/9-Friday* She is home now, and doing well so far. Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers!!! ![]()

Kate on the news!!!
Our client and friend Kate was interviewed by NBC Nightly News tonight (4/30), and will have a couple images of her wedding photographed by Margie and I featured during the interview. It’s very exciting to have our images featured on the national news!

The video from NBC News:
The bill just passed due to Kate and her mom Becky’s hard work. Well done, you two!!!
Still here!
It’s been a crazy couple of weeks-moving the last of Mom’s furniture here to our house, dealing with probate, trying to get the lawyer to actually do something so that I can get her condo sold and stop dealing with the condo nazis, editing weddings, designing album layouts, surviving two bouts of influenza, and still taking time once in a while for a motorcycle ride so that I don’t go postal/bridal.
More wedding and engagement session previews will be posted on the blog soon!
Have a fantastic week!

Thank You FedEx!
I had procrastinated a bit on ordering a newer, lighter camera for my wife, and bought one on line a few days ago. FedEx had gotten the package stuck in Memphis due to some heavy storms, and planes were grounded, which was going to delay delivery until Saturday when we would be out covering a wedding.
I called their customer service line, explained the situation to the nice rep, and what shows up on my doorstep? Our new camera.
FedEx rocks!!!
PS-I won’t tell you about the horror story of the UPS incident and the package left in a rainstorm…. ![]()
Eric and Erica’s Crosley Wedding
A few previews for Erica and Eric from their wedding at the Powel Crosley Museum…

OUCH!!!
I thought the natural heart shaped lens flare was rather cool, and complimented the moment.

It’s good to be home!
We are back from the cruise, but it is really good to be home! The funny thing is that I somewhow managed to lose a couple pounds on the cruise, even with all of the food I shouldn’t have been eating!

Disembarking for the 100s of vendors that are a bit like gnats at times, but I admire their tenacity! $1 for a piece of toilet paper (a folded paper towel) was a bit, well….

Oops-Wife eaten by shark…

The Cozumel tourist strip-it was almost totally wiped out by hurricanes not too long ago, and almost everything is rebuilt now.

That seawall is just a bit too small I thought, but I’m no engineer…
